Creating healthy recipes for children
How do we design our menus to ensure they are nutritionally balanced and appealing to all children?
Start by emphasising on a balance of whole grains, lean fresh meat and fish, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and minimal sugar and oil
Reference state regulatory bodies and infant feeding guidelines to ensure we are creating the most balanced menu
Gather feedback from our existing customers, dieticians and nutritionists
We make the necessary tweaks to produce separate dishes for children with food intolerances or cultural preferences
Our chefs go to work creating a delicious and diverse menu which is delivered fresh to your centre, ready for heating
